The visit was part of a broader European tour to support groundbreaking innovations in sustainable energy and decarbonization. As a key communications and event management partner, Reborn Communications ensured seamless coordination between multiple stakeholders, delivering an impactful event that highlighted Croatia’s contributions to clean hydrogen technology.
The visit centered on the "S2H2: From Sludge to Hydrogen for a Circular Economy" project, funded by the EU Innovation Fund. With the presence of high-profile attendees—including European Commissioner Hoekstra, Croatian Minister of Environmental Protection and Green Transition Marija Vučković, and Jorgo Chatzimarkakis, CEO of Hydrogen Europe—the event required meticulous planning and execution.
We handled drafting and managing official letters and invitations to key government and industry representatives, crafting and distributing press releases, managing media outreach, and ensuring strong press coverage. Our team oversaw the production of photography and videography to document key moments, with Gordan Svilar from Virtue Production as Lead Photographer, and Ivan Mraković from MRAK Production as Lead Videographer. Additionally, we designed high-quality presentations and event materials to effectively communicate the project’s significance. We also prepared briefing documents for company leadership and key stakeholders to ensure impactful messaging during speeches and panel discussions.
The weeks of preparation culminated in a highly successful event where Commissioner Hoekstra praised DOK-ING as a "spectacular company with innovations of the future." The event not only highlighted the technological advancements of DOK-ING and Indeloop but also reinforced Croatia’s position as a leader in clean hydrogen production within Europe.
The visit received widespread media coverage, with Commissioner Hoekstra affirming the European Commission’s commitment to supporting projects like Looper, Indeloop’s flagship innovation. Minister Vučković also underscored the importance of governmental backing for pioneering technologies that contribute to Europe’s climate goals.
